Le Diner en Blanc Jamaica Launches at BMW Jamaica setting the stage for a Spectacular Return
Le Diner en Blanc Jamaica, the world's most prestigious pop-up picnic event, kicked off its exclusive launch party on Sunday night at the BMW Showroom in Jamaica. The event, which gathered distinguished guests from the entertainment and fashion industries, set the stage for an incredible return of the highly anticipated celebration.
The evening began with guests being greeted in true James Bond style by Social Butterfliez Ambassadors, who were dressed as Bond Girls to complement this year's James Bond-inspired theme.
The launch party boasted an array of delightful experiences for the guests. They indulged in refreshments from an exquisite Charcuterie grazing table by Boujee Board by Tiff, accompanied by a selection of wines provided by Diner en Blanc Wine Partners, Select Brands. Tasteful tablescape arrangements were displayed by Elegant Essentials and Borghavilla, providing inspiration for the guests on setting their own tables for the official event.
Capturing the evening's memories, guests had the opportunity to strike a pose on the red carpet with Big Shots Photo Booth, creating timeless keepsakes to cherish. Diner en Blanc Fashion Collaborators, Soho Boutique and The Kings Wardrobe, were available for styling Q&As leaving attendees brimming with ideas for their own fashion statements at the upcoming event.
The launch party was graced by the presence of esteemed individuals from the entertainment industry. Notable attendees included Leisha Wong, Brett Wong, and Steven Price, members of the former host team, as well as Ewan Simpson, Chairman of the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association, and D'Angel, renowned Fashionista and Recording Artist. Representatives from the Jamaica Tourist Board were also present, highlighting the significance of Le Diner en Blanc Jamaica as a premier cultural event in the country.
Expressing their gratitude, the current team consistent of Tash Johnson, Tamika Allen, and Damani Hylton, extended their warm appreciation to BMW JAMAICA for facilitating the return of this extraordinary event. Le Diner en Blanc Jamaica, known for its elegance, sophistication, and unique outdoor dining experience, will be held for the first time in Ocho Rios on May 4th. The principle fuelling this fantastic event is simple: guests dressed in all white gather at a secret location for the sole purpose of sharing a gourmet meal with good friends in one of their city’s most beautiful public spaces.
Each event is headed by passionate local organizers who fell in love with the concept and who wanted to bring it – in the case of Kingston – back to the city, adding their own local flair while respecting the event's core values.
The new hosting team is made up of Damani Hylton and Tashima Johnson who is an experience Diner en Blanc Host, having been at the helm of the Orlando and Jacksonville events.
